To all patients, parents, and guardians:
STEP Pediatrics is effecting changes in the way we see patients in order to provide optimal care for our patients, provide separation of the ill from the well children, and to protect our staff.
Effective immediately, all Well Child appointments will be block scheduled in the morning. All Sick Child appointments will be block scheduled in the late morning and afternoon. Sick children will be triaged and if necessary, will be scheduled earlier in the day. STEP Pediatrics has a procedure to prevent mixing sick with well patients.
Additionally, STEP Pediatrics has Telemedicine visits available for certain non-sick visits. If you schedule online, we will contact you to if we need to change the time of your visit.
This situation is dynamic and we will make tactical adjustments daily in response to the changing conditions.
