About Us

Dr. Joan S. Purcell
Dr. Purcell is board certified in both pediatrics and adolescent medicine. She graduated from Austin College (Sherman, Texas) and received her M.D. from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed her pediatric residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Purcell is married and has three boys. She enjoys exercising, triathlons, reading, cooking and relaxing with her family.

Dr. Joseph P. Edralin
Dr. Edralin is board certified in pediatrics. He graduated from Houston Baptist University and received his M.D. from University of Texas Houston Health Science Center. He completed his pediatric residency in Houston at UTHHSC. Dr. Edralin has a menagerie of animals including dogs, parrots, iguanas and fish. He is perhaps best known in the office for his wall of singing fish and skateboarding skills. He enjoys fishing, skydiving, bicycling, exercising and spending time with his family.

Dr. Callie A. Byrd
Dr. Byrd is board certified in pediatrics. She graduated from Texas A&M University and received her M.D. from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. She completed her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. When not caring for patients, Dr. Byrd enjoys traveling, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family.

Becky Stroud, RN, CPNP
Becky is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Woman's University and her Master's in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. In her free time, Becky enjoys reading, scrap booking, hiking, birding, and spending time with family and friends. Her recent travels include Washington D.C., Big Bend National Park, Davis Mountains, and Palo Duro Canyon State Park.
